This is the beginning course in real estate and meets the minimum 45 classroom hour requirement to take the Illinois real estate exam for licensure as a salesperson. Students must be at least  21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED to take the course for the state exam.

This course meets the 15 hour mandatory requirement for persons pursuing a broker's license after January 1, 2000, as stated in the License Act of 2000. Brokerage, escrow, business accounting, agency, and License Law 2000 will be addressed. Attendees can receive credit towards the 12 hours of continuing education required every other year.
